I told him that nudity in general was much more relaxed and common throughout Europe than in most Westernized countries like ours. It’s a shame we are so prudish but then again that is one of the mot wonderful things about traveling to other countries and ‘living in their shoes’ for a week or so.

I had to warn one lady who was lying on her tummy tanning her back and bottom that she was quickly turned bright red and was getting very burnt. We had a nice talk after she thanked me for the warning and admitted it was only her second time visiting a nude beach. Her husband was new to it too and looked a little embarrassed. Ah well we all have to start somewhere. I just hope her sunburn wasn’t too severe.
This picture was captured candidly of a middle aged married couple and it struck me as a really beautiful picture. They are holding hands and look happily in love as they head down the esplanade for a walk. This image is from the Be Bare Too who have some truly wonderful nudist photos. Here’s a wonderfully candid photo of a group of nudists painting each others bodies right on the beach. It’s a real carnival atmosphere as girls and boys alike line up to get their nude bodies adorned with painted flowers and shapes. I’m not sure where this is but it looks like a Russian beach to me.

The middle aged female nudists in this picture show a prime example of their comfort level with their bodies. They don’t mind having slightly saggy breasts or flabby bottoms. Truth be told no other nudists care either. Older women develop these things with age and it’s perfectly natural.

The other candid beach pic shows a similar scene with two teen couples having fun at one of busier topless beaches in Europe. One of the girls is getting suntan lotion rubbed on her back by her boyfriend after they all went into the sea for a swim.
